Hear what Bristol had to say about our Good Money Habits STUF workshop.
“I am glad the workshop went well. I spoke to one of the Teens this afternoon and they really enjoyed the workshop as it helps them to understand the value of money, budgeting and saving. The highlight is the amazon voucher!
Thank you so much to you and the STUF group, as they have passed on to these young ones knowledge and skills that will go with them into the future!"
It was amazing having you guys in last week and the youth left the workshop buzzing. Honestly, that was the first time they have left a workshop that excited! They usually leaving wanting to tell me off for making them sit there for an hour 😃
It was great to see them discussing money in a sensible way and not just saying “I want to be a millionaire” but the information really got them thinking about how to be smarter with their money, even for those that just receive pocket money. For example, one of the boys said he was going to start the penny challenge, another boy said he was going to look into an ISA! And these are just things I was over hearing from them talking to each other after coming out the workshop.
"One of the best workshops we've ever had"
Thanks so much for coming to us! 🙌
"I recently had the opportunity to witness the STUF organisation in action as they conducted a financial literacy program for a group of 28 students at Skinner's Grammar School. The experience left me impressed with the comprehensive knowledge shared and the impact made on these young minds
We look forward to the team returning!"

“When I left school at 16, I had no grasp of the finance basics. Renting, mortgages, how to manage my money – it was all new to me. Starting your first job and moving out is a challenging time, and all these unknowns made it more stressful. I made misinformed decisions that could’ve been easily avoided with access to the right education. I started STUF because I want to make sure other young people have the chance to avoid making the mistakes I did and feel better informed and more confident when making their first steps into adult life.”

“I started working pretty much the second I left school. I’ve always made a decent wage, but even after 20 years of work I didn’t have a huge amount to show for all my efforts. I want to teach children from similar backgrounds as myself how to manage, save and invest money to open up more opportunities and provide them with a better start in life.”
